It's big, black, and beautiful. Barrel-aged in Woodford Reserve bottles. Brooklyn Black Ops does not exist. However, if it did exist, it would be a robust stout concocted by the Brooklyn brewing team under cover of secrecy and hidden from everyone else at the brewery. Supposedly, "Black Ops" was aged for four months in bourbon barrels, bottled flat, and re-fermented with Champagne yeast, creating big chocolate and coffee flavors with a rich underpinning of vanilla-like oak notes. They say there are only 1000 cases. We have no idea what they’re talking about.

New California Cabernets in Stock!!!
2009 Rudius Panek Vineyard Cabernet - "The nose on the 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and very dense with pronounced notes of blackberry, roasted meats, black truffles, and rich cocoa. On the palate, this wine has a very rich, dark fruit-driven entry. Hints of espresso and cassis lead into a very long, smooth finish. The richness of flavor is balanced by just enough tannin structure to keep it fresh and clean. This Cabernet should be very drinkable on release but will gain complexity and depth for at least 7-10 years."
2008 Chappellet Pritchard Hill Cabernet - "The most sought‐after wine in the Chappellet portfolio, this limited‐production Cabernet Sauvignon represents the pinnacle of Chappellet winemaking, and embodies the elegant power and complexity of Pritchard Hill winegrowing. Like the great Bordeaux wines that first inspired Donn Chappellet, this wine is crafted by blending Cabernet Sauvignon with other classic Bordeaux varietals. The wine was aged for 20 months in 100 percent new French oak, and for an additional eight months in bottle prior to release. Grown exclusively on our rocky, mountainside vineyards, our Cabernets have consistently displayed an ability to age for several decades."
2008 Cliff Lede Stags Leap Cabernet - "The least expensive cuvee, the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap, exhibits a deep plum/ruby/purple color along with a sweet perfume of cedar, black currants, flowers and a subtle hint of toast. Medium to full-bodied with beautiful density, ripeness, elegance and balance, it should drink well for 15+ years. Elegant, well-made Cabernets continue to emerge from this reputable as well as increasingly high quality producer in the tiny corridor of Stags Leap where the Yountville Crossroad intersects the Silverado Trail. Cliff Lede’s forward, delicious 2008s merit attention from readers. An early look at the 2009s suggests these will be early drinkers as they possess forward fruit, soft tannins and endearing, mid-weight styles. For most wineries, 2009 is clearly not a blockbuster vintage, but rather one that might turn out to be similar to 2005, underrated initially, but putting on weight and showing beautiful balance in what was clearly a cooler year."

Wainwright dairy is a family owned and operated business established upon wholesome principles, values, and ingredients. With over thirty years experience in the dairy business, they have committed themselves to producing high quality milk. More recently, they are now happy to offer you all natural, farm fresh cheese products.
They start with raw milk and make their cheese completely natural. Their milk is pasteurized only because they are required by state and federal regulations, but they do not homogenize their milk so that it is better for you and that your body can actually digest it. As their logo states, they are striving to produce milk and cheese as close to "the way God intended."

Larmandier-Bernier Blanc de Blancs – For Larmandier-Bernier it is not for reasons of tradition that their approach to viticulture is completely natural; it is just because it makes sense. The creation of a great Champagne, like the creation of any great wine, begins in the vineyard. Indeed, it is the grapes that contain the qualities and the authenticity that no man could ever invent.
The recipe for good-quality grapes is simple but demanding: old vines, working the soil, moderate yields; vines which thrive without having fertilisers forced into them, and mature grapes picked by hand.
The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru is elegance personified. Smoke, minerals, chalk and pears emerge as this generous yet subtle wine opens up in the glass. Sweet floral notes develop with air, but minerality is this wine’s calling card, particularly on the finish, which is incredibly elegant and refined. Simply put, this is gorgeous juice.
Camille Saves Bouzy Brut Rose – “The estates NV Brut Rose offers up berries, mint and freshly cut roses, showing great length and a classy, totally

polished finish. This is another strong version of one of the regions most consistently delicious Roses. The blend is 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir (including 12% still Pinot), 60% 2007 and 40% 2006 reserve wine, all from vineyards in Bouzy. Dosage was 9 grams per liter.
This is an impressive wine from Camille Saves. The estate is located in Bouzy, a village famous for its Pinot Noir. These wines make a wonderful introduction for readers new to the Champagnes of Bouzy. Even better, the wine remains reasonably priced considering the quality of what is in the bottle. Interestingly, despite its richness, this Saves does not undergo malolactic fermentation as these vineyards in Bouzy provide more than enough stuffing on their own”
Vazart – Coquart Blanc de Blancs – Descendants of several generations of Champagne wine-growers, Jacques and Jean-Pierre VAZART perpetuate the brand of VAZART-COQUART. Experience and tradition combined with the most advanced techniques are your guarantee of constant and unique quality.
This cuvée “Brut”, in other words only lightly sweetened, is made exclusively from the white Chardonnay grape variety. Full of finesse, this supple and airy wine always contains 30 to 40 % of reserve wines, so that, year after year, you will find the same “Vazart-Coquart” taste so appreciated by wine-lovers.
Turley Wine Cellars – “Turley wines are often recognized as “making some of the best, if not the best Zinfandel in California for decades.”There is a two year waiting list for new recipients into their wine club.
Turley specializes in wines made from old-vine red Zinfandel. They source fruit from older vineyards, some date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
In previous issues of Wine Spectator & Wine Advocate magazine, Turley wines have received favorable reviews.
In 1993, Turley Wine Cellars was founded by Larry Turley, brother of the well-known consulting winemaker Helen Turley. Turley, had entered the wine business in 1981 as co-founder of the multi-varietal Frog’s Leap Winery, but soon realized that his interest lay in wines made from the Zinfandel grape.”
2008 Turley Hayne Vineyard Petite Syrah – 94-96 Points Wine Advocate - “Huge aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and ink, massive fruit concentration, enormous body, and a lot less alcohol than the Zinfandels (a character of this varietal). Readers who purchase any of these cuvees should forget them for 10 years, and drink them over the following 25-30 years.”
2009 Turley Dragon Vineyard Zinfandel – 90-92 Points Wine Advocate – “The 2009 Zinfandel Dragon Vineyard possesses copious fruit and spice, medium body, a precocious, front end-loaded style and a good finish. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.”
2009 Turley Rattlesnake Ridge Zinfandel – 92-94 Points Wine Advocate - “Its dark ruby/purple hue is followed by notes of blueberries, blackberries and damp, mossy, forest floor scents. The wine possesses fabulous fruit, admirable ripeness and a rich, full-bodied mouthfeel and plenty of power as well as fruit.”
